Through step-by-step demonstrations and handouts, participants will explore how to build rich, layered textures and colours for creative results. Discover how to turn everyday materials—such as bubble wrap, lace, and leaves—into tools for creating intricate patterns and unique designs.

Experiment with techniques for crafting backgrounds, masks, and patchwork-style prints, gaining insight into how to develop a creative visual language. Participants will also receive practical guidance on caring for and storing your gelli plate to keep it in excellent condition.

By the end of this gelli printing session you will take home a vibrant collection of experimental papers—perfect for use in sketchbooks, collage projects, or as standalone art prints. This workshop is ideal for, beginners curious about printmaking, artists looking to experiment with new technique and anyone who loves colour, texture, and creative play!
