But unlike other such makeshift projects that flare up then fizzle away, Vogue burnt itself onto our cultural consciousness. Nina and Teresa discuss some of the highlights from the book including stories of French Vogue’s response to WWII, its secret publishing, the magazine’s historical importance during the war and the importance of the magazine’s role in empowering women for generations.
