Volunteering

Volunteers make a vital difference to our work and we are extremely grateful to all our volunteers whose time and effort bring so much to the Fashion and Textile Museum and its visitors. Every volunteer offers invaluable support to the Museum whilst also gaining experience in the museum sector.

We are specifically looking for applicants who can volunteer on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

How to volunteer

Our volunteer programme is open to anyone aged 18 and over. To find out what volunteering opportunities are currently available, please have a look at the current opportunities section on this page.

If you are interested, fill in the application form or send a video/voice recording of yourself answering the questions in the application form to fashiontextilemuseum@newham.ac.uk.

What happens next?

Potential candidates will be contacted by our Front of House and Volunteer Coordinator and invited to an informal interview over Zoom.
