Play and explore alternative drawing techniques, and discover new ways of unlocking your creativity in this new, exciting one-day workshop.
Book ticketsThis one-day, experimental drawing workshop will focus on mark-making through a variety of techniques. Participants will make their own drawing tools and experiment with, scribbling, repeat pattern, collage, projection, illustration, shape, print, text, and installation. The aim of the workshop is for you to get out of your comfort zone, to play and explore alternative drawing techniques, discovering new ways of unlocking your creativity.
Drawing materials act as an extension of your body, and this workshop will encourage participants to be spontaneous, to draw with an element of surprise and be inventive with the materials and tools available to you. You will work with mixed-media to create a diverse body of work through illustration, print, installation and performance. The studio space will be transformed into an environment for everyone to mark-make and create abstract art works for your sketchbooks and portfolios.
