The Fashion and Textile Museum seeks a motivated Front of House and Volunteer Coordinator to join a dedicated and friendly team. This key role ensures the professional day-to-day running of the Museum providing excellent customer service to all visitors and stakeholders. This is a hands-on role coordinating all Front of House operations elements and managing and motivating our Museum volunteers.
It is envisaged the post holder will work 10am - 6.15pm, 5 days a week Tuesday to Saturday, and act as duty manager on Saturdays.
The Fashion and Textile Museum is the only museum in the UK solely dedicated to showcasing developments in contemporary fashion, the Fashion and Textile Museum also provides inspiration, support and training for those working in the industry. Founded by iconic British designer Dame Zandra Rhodes, the museum is owned and operated by Newham College London – one of Europe's largest further education colleges – and offers a programme of changing exhibitions, courses and events.
